Guild Puzzle: Langmar Estate
This puzzle works best with a minimum of 6 players to complete one of the mini-games - to get there head to Langmar Estate Waypoint — [&BPgGAAA=] and head south
After entering the instance, there will be an NPC with a dialogue box above their head
Once everyone is in the instance, the commander will talk to them to start the timer on the puzzle.
Courtyard
After running down a couple of hallways, there will be a courtyard. In this courtyard, you will see Charr statues on the end closest to where you enter, with Human statues facing directly opposite on the other side of the room. This mini game works like Rock > Paper > Scissors
The book directly in the middle of the room will give the riddle to help you figure out which weapon beats which (or look below!)
Reading the book will also start the timer for the mini-game.
Behind each statue is a weapon rack that you can interact with once the event starts. It will spawn an Ascalonian Mage, a Bow, a Sword, or a Staff
Only 3 of the 12 racks will produce a weapon
If the rack produces a weapon, it will always produce the same weapon. If it produced a Mage, it will always produce a Mage. Call out which rack produced what weapon in chat so your friends can come grab the weapon, as you will need 2 of each
WARNING: The weapons are a bundle - if you drop it, you lose it
Run the weapon to the Charr opposite the human’s weapon it will beat.
Bow > Sword > Staff > Bow
If you are wrong, it will not let you equip it
Once all have been matched, you can leave this section of the courtyard towards the gate
Gate
There are 4 pressure buttons on top of pillars that need to be stood on at the same time in order to open the gate for 5 seconds
Watch for the commander to call when it's open and then hurry through the gate! There are minor jumping puzzles required to reach the buttons on the four pillars
The Gallery
The gallery has two levels, lower and upper. Lord Byron will be walking around the lower portion, trying to distract players
If he gets too close to you, you will get a “Talk” interaction vs “Pull” interaction, preventing the opening of the curtain. If you have an extra person, having them on Byron duty is a good strategy, where they keep interacting with him so he stays put.
There are 6 curtains on the lower and 6 corresponding curtains on the upper. Start by stationing a gamer at each lower curtain, then filling the upper. All of the upper curtains have Jumping Puzzles to get to them.
North Jumping Puzzles
If you have enough members, having one at each of the 12 curtains makes it easy to complete this puzzle - otherwise, some or all of the 6 players at the lower curtains will need to run to their corresponding curtains on the upper.
South Jumping Puzzles
Opening one of the curtains on the lower level will start the first timer for the mini-game, which is 5 seconds for all the lower curtains to succeed. Once the curtain opens, a random portrait of Byron performing an emote will appear. Once all the lower curtains successfully copy that, a 45-second timer will start for the upper gallery.
Upper gallery curtains will remain closed until the emote from the corresponding lower curtain is done in front of it. Once all of them are copied correctly, the gate will open below the North curtains
The Armory
After the hallway, the final room contains 3 floors. The top two floors remove Poison from the floor below them.
Level 1: Top Floor
The top floor has two pressure plates that must be stood on simultaneously the whole time in order to keep poison cleared on Level 2 (middle).
Ascalonian ghosts will spawn, trying to attack and knock back the button pressers. If you have enough members, an extra to help clear adds can be helpful, but not necessary if the button pressers have range and stability damage.
Level 2: Middle Floor
The middle floor has exposed gears that need greasing to spin and clear the poison from the bottom floor. Oozes will repeatedly spawn, dropping Ball of Oozes.
Return to the gear in the middle of the room and use skill 1 to rub the ooze to grease the gear. Two gamers are usually sufficient to keep the gear working.
Level 3: Bottom Floor
The bottom floor’s job is to build a battering ram to break out of the room. Sort through carts around the room to look for parts and kill adds. When you find a part, your skill bar will change.
Head towards the door on the North side, there will be a spot for you to build a Makeshift Ram. Once built, someone will need to interact with it a couple times to break open the door.
Once the door opens, congratulations, you win! The prompts to accept credit will come up. Gamers can leave the instance at any point now, or you can run through the hall at the end and jump into a well. There will be a Skelk there to kill and a statue at the bottom you can interact with to exit
