New Hero Jumpstart Event
The New Hero Jumpstart event is a great event for new players to hop into, but its also great for long time and returning players!
The New Hero Jumpstart event is a limited time event that gives players extra rewards for participating in events in the starting areas, but also gives you a buff for extra experience, magic find, and WvW/PvP Reward Track exp
Jump Start: Meeting The Mist Stranger
Speak with the Mist Stranger in your homeland and hear their request
You just need to talk to the Mist Stranger and he will request that you go do events, there will be an achievement tied to each of the starting areas for you to complete

Caledon Forest
Metrica Province
Plains of Ashford
Hero's Origin: Caledon Forest
Complete events in Caledon Forest in the Maguuma Jungle
You will need to complete any 5 events in Caledon Forest
Hero's Origin: Metrica Province
Complete events in Metrica Province in the Maguuma Jungle
You will need to complete any 5 events in Metrica Province
Hero's Origin: Plains of Ashford
Complete events in Plains of Ashford in Ascalon
You will need to complete any 5 events in the Plains of Ashford
Hero's Origin: Queensdale
Complete events in Queensdale in Kryta
You will need to complete any 5 events in Queensdale
Hero's Origin: Wayfarer Foothills
Complete events in Wayfarer Foothills in the Shiverpeaks Mountains
You will need to complete any 5 events in Wayfarer Foothills
Jump Start: Local Hero
Complete any Hero's Origin achievement in the New Hero Jump Starter category
After completing any of the Hero’s Origin achievements return to the Mist Stranger
New Hero Jump Starter
Complete 5 Hero's Origin achievements in the New Hero Jump Starter category
After completing all 5 of the Hero’s Origin achievements return to the Mist Stranger and receive a Hero's Trusty Satchel (20 Slot Bag)
Jump Start: Gift from the Mists
After completing the request, speak with the Mist Stranger to receive a Dreambound weapon
After completing all of the other achievements when you return to the Mist Stranger you will receive a box for your current profession you are on - so if you are looking for a specific weapon type you will need to pick the profession that can use that weapon before receiving the box
New Hero Jumpstart Boost
During the event you will have a buff that provides the following bonuses
+50% Experience Gain (All Sources)
+30% Magic Find
+30% WvW Reward Track Progress
+30% PvP Reward Track Progress
This is where veteran players will benefit greatly, this is a great buff to farm spirit shards or push some PvP or WvW reward tracks to completion
