Mount Balrior Convergence is the 50 man public or private instance for Janthir Wilds

How To Get There

To get into the Convergence in Janthir Wilds, you simply need to head to Lowland Shores Harvest Den Waypoint — [&BK4OAAA=] - next to Bonfire Lodge PoI - [&BCQPAAA=]

From here you can enter a Public Convergence when Stoic Alder is there to tell the tale, or you can enter a private instance as a squad using a Unstable Rift Motivation

Inside Mount Balrior

When you first enter Mount Balrior you will be greeted by Distant Memory - when you talk to them you will be able to start the Convergence

Once you have started you will notice a debuff called Frozen Soil - everyone will be under this effect in the whole group but it will just prevent you from being resurrected from a full down state by turning you into a Whisp, but you will be returned to normal form once enough essence has been handed in

An ancient ritual disrupts the flow of resurrection magic.
When you are defeated, you become a roaming wisp and cannot be revived using normal means.

When you start your first step will be to Escort The Pack Dolyak To The Base Camp Site

Once you have made it up to base camp you will see 6 different Thumper Locations pop up around the map

You will need to build all 6 Thumper Locations and defend the Base Camp

To do this you will need to use your Warclaw to pull the supplies from base camp to each location, when you first get to the location you need to use the Warclaw “Sniff” ability to show the proper spot to drop your supplies

After enough supplies have been deposited you will have to defend the spot from Titan Spawn until it is built

During all of this you will need to also defend your base camp, and in doing so you will grant more locations to deposit essence

During all of this there will be weather effects happening as well - this can be a Sandstorm or a Thunder Storm - these will add AoE’s and cause you to have a bit more difficult time.

Convergence Boss

Decima

After all Thumpers have been built you will have to go run to Decima’s spawn location

When you have arrived at the starting location you will notice an essence drop location similar to Convergence’s in Secrets of the Obscure as well as conduits around Decima - these will string together and form walls that cause large knockbacks

Decima will do a fair variety of attacks that range from a ground slam that creates cones that spread in a circle

She will also do a body slam that creates shockwaves, as well as circle AoE slams that will down you if you are in the center of it

Decima will pull in purple orbs from the conduits around the outside, these are marked with a green circle under that you must stand in to get rid of them, the bigger they are the more people need to stand in them - the smallest ones can be done solo

These orbs will grow in size based on the “numbers” mechanic - this is when multiple players will get marked with a number above their head and a arrow will be targeting towards them

If the players with these markers goes in front of or next to a conduit and it hits, it will expand the AoE size under the conduit and cause it to spawn larger Purple Orbs/Greens

There will also be a player marked with a Red Arrow and you will need to share this hit with the conduits to survive

Every 25% Decima will run and you will see The Titan Has Burrowed Into The Mountain And Must Be Lured Back Out To A New Location - you will need to use your Warclaw’s “sniff” ability to look for Titan Stench and follow the trail to fill up the bar on the side of your screen

Once the whole team has gathered enough of the Titan Stench you will get a Special Action Key (SAK) called Aetherial Jump that will take you directly to Decima’s location

  • At 50% Decima spawns at Decima's Stormfield Point of Interest

  • At 25% Decima spawns at Ura's Throne Point of Interest
