Patch Notes April 14, 2026

Super Adventure Box

Super Adventure Box (SAB) is live until May 5th. The annual this year is a vest matching the previous years' aesthetics.

More excitingly, there is an expanded World 3 Zone 1 and new Zone 2 test zones. Have fun, you jumping puzzle-loving gamers. I'll be fumbling my way through creating new colorful ways to swear at the game.

The reward I am most excited about is the music tracks you can add to your homestead! They have a chance to drop the first time you complete a zone, but if you don't get lucky, you can purchase them from the vendor

Rewards You Shouldn't Miss:

  • Plush Ess Backpack (for collection Friend of Dragons)

  • New Homestead Decorations

  • Weekly Reward Vendor Items

What you choose from weekly rewards depends on your goals. If you want gold, buy Amalgamated Draconic Lodestones (3/week) [&AgEPagEA]. If you need Amalgamated Gemstones [&AgHfCQEA] for crafting, get those, but I argue that since those are easier to come by in Hero's Choice Chests from meta events, it isn't a great use of baubles. Mystic Coins are far more limited to obtain, so consider them an option if you are working on legendaries.

If fashion is your game, there are three options for weekly rewards: Gen One, Super Rainbow Cloud, and Golem Buster, if they fit an aesthetic you like. Other rewards offer the new Forged-Light Weapons and additional weapons in Retro-Forged series.

General Updates

Ruined City of Arah has been made less painful by changing the mechanics of the hot potato light section to be able to throw directly to the globe rather than needing to interact with it. Arah will remain the longest dungeon by far.

Raid quality of life is yet again improved by adding a vendor that can send you rewards normally only available in the instances. This vendor will also convert Blue Prophet Crystals to Magnetite Shards for you. Ascended raid drops can also award Magnetite Shards. This is huge for me since anyone who will listen has heard me voice my feelings on no longer being able to convert them into Research Notes [end rant...for today...will happen again].

I am also happy to see that timers have increased for the Raids "Down and Out" achievement for clearing wings with no down states within the given time limit.

Spirt Vale was 11.5 minutes, and speed clear groups were only barely completing the wing in just under that time. I know this achievement is meant for the S-tier raiders to have more APs to shoot for, but the timers still need to be reasonably achievable.

Balance Update

I’ll be honest, I’m not a buildcraft person. The gist of this balance is that it is a work in progress to work towards resolving power creep.

Enemies from End of Dragons release and after will have their health reduced to compensate for the loss.

Newer fractal bosses will have additional “significant” changes, though what exactly has changed is not specified. The balance team had stated in multiple posts that they intend to watch how this affects gameplay and adjust as needed.

That said, please provide feedback to the forums. Let it be constructive and specific. Saying “this is bad/sucks/unplayable” is not helpful. What made it bad? A buff or skill isn’t working correctly, or you can’t reasonably progress.

A build still doing 30k+ DPS after a 10% loss is still playable and the intended outcome. Things will feel harder because of this; that will be a natural part of this process. Give the team time to make it work.

Good Luck, Have Fun Gamers,
