The Only Way - Story Update

The new Visions of Eternity release is live! I hope you've been having as much fun as I have exploring the new map, Eternity's Garden. Wow, just wow. I've been impressed with the maps in this expansion. I don't think I've been this impressed since Heart of Thorns. There is verticality plus the underwater areas, I love it!

New to this release are two new mastery tracks. They do require a lot of XP to complete, so don't forget your boosters. Residual Mirror Magic Mastery gives a magic find boon after completing a magic mirror puzzle. Combat Maneuvers Mastery improves Stealthy Survivor to allow you to use supply stashes in combat and Lucky Shield so that if you reach 25% health in Castora, all health points are restored, and you receive barrier.

Two new legendary accessories are now ready for your armory. Stella Radians, for those who favor PvE content, doesn't have any heavy achievement hunting beyond completing the Eternity's Garden Mastery and "The Only Way" story. The Mastery does take some work, but beyond that, it is expensive at over 56,000 research notes and 7 million research notes if you take the cheaper routes to acquire everything you need.

Strife Unending, the WvW accessory, has a simple collection, but it does require you to have and equip a Mistwalker Infusion. This accessory is expensive, unless you main WvW. Legendaries aren't meant to be easy, but it is nice to have options to choose from based on content preference.

Two new rare drops come with this map. A Swiftwing Raptor mount skin can drop from the meta as well as events. A cosmetic infusion can also, very rarely, drop from the meta event or minidungeon called Seer Transcendence

The drop item is Mote of Seer Transcendence and allows for a choice of stat. The infusion effect is similar to that seen on transcendence creatures and the environment.

General Updates of Note

Fashion templates have been revised (details in update notes). This change seems more streamlined and user-friendly from what I have toyed with so far. The addition of the "Travel" tab to tie mounts, skiff, conjured doorways, and glider looks together with your fashion is a major win.

For as long as I have been playing, it is something I've heard and said many times. Thank you, devs, for this major upgrade! Don't worry, the travel tab unlocks along with the fashion templates you purchase.
