End of Dragons Mini Dungeons

There are lots of hidden mini dungeons all around the world of Guild Wars 2, we are going to take a look at four you can do if you are farming Jade Runestones

Spirit Vestibule

This mini dungeon is located in Seitung Province and you can find the entrance at Spirit Vestibule — [&BI4MAAA=]

The closest Waypoint is Village Waypoint — [&BJ4MAAA=] head out of the village through the Northeast doorway and continue on the road East

 
 

You will have to enter the mini dungeon through the entrance or you will be teleported out

Once you are inside you will notice there is two paths to go as this will form a circle around Zen Daijun Temple — [&BLAMAAA=] - there will be a few mechanics you will have to deal with in order to finish

There will be several chests scattered around the dungeon that spawn at random locations - including 1 in each Champion room - each of these chests has a chance to drop a Jade Runestone!

Encroaching Darkness

The first thing you will probably notice is Encroaching Darkness appearing in your bar

 
 

The darkness encloses you, stifling each breath the longer you stay within it. Find a light source to protect yourself!

To deal with this you simple need to look for the lanterns placed around the area, standing in these will remove this effect and grant you the Lantern Light effect until you run out to the next one

You are granted a reprieve from the encroaching darkness.

You do not want to be standing without a light source for too long or you will be teleported back to the entrance

 
 

Grasping Darkness

The next mechanic that will start to effect you as you are exploring is Grasping Darkness

The darkness has taken hold of you!

This is AoE’s that will appear under you when you are not under the effect of Lantern Light, if you get hit by this AoE marker you will be stunned for 5 seconds - Stun Breaks can be used to get get out of these

 
 

Totems / Resonance & Champions

Your main goal in Spirit Vestibule is to collect all three colored totems and defeat their Champions

 
 

To do this you need to find the three glowing totems that are in random placements every day for reset so this will not be the same run daily

 
 

You will gain a Resonance from each one you interact with, each of these Resonance corresponds to a specific Champion, the order in which you collect them and kill the Champions is completely up to you - but if you see a group killing one it may be best to join them!

Each Champion will be behind a hidden vine path that once you approach will open up for you
Each Champion has unique abilities and voice lines

To activate each Champion fight you will need to click the blue orb in the center of the arena

Spirit of the Ritualist


Red Resonance Is Needed To Deal Damage
Attacks Inflict 3 stacks of Vulnerability

You, interloper! You'll regret setting foot in here! I'll see to it.”

Spirit of the Berserker

Green Resonance Is Needed To Deal Damage
High damage melee attacks - Spins to do Arc Divider that creates AoE rings that spread out

“You dare disturb me? Well, allow me to return the favor.”

Spirit of the Illusionist

Blue Resonance Is Needed To Deal Damage
Creates multiple AoE’s that fill the arena - Uses Psychic Force to knock back

After you defeat all 3 Champions, in the final room you are in, there will be a bright white beam, if you interact with that you will get teleported to the hidden room with 3 Magnificent Chests - these chests will contain a guaranteed 1 - 3 Jade Runestones!

 
 

Vasburg Armory

This mini dungeon is located in The Echovald Wilds and you can find the entrance in a cave in Melandru's Hope

The best way to get there is to start at Jade Gate Waypoint — [&BPkMAAA=] and go Southwest to Teleri Village — [&BCkNAAA=] then go North into the cave, once you are in the cave where you will see the water and the dock, look for a hidden vine covered tunnel where you will find Lukas Vasburg - once you fight him he will open a teleport pad

 
 

Fire Room

The first room is covered with trap panels that release flames once you get past all of these there is a small jumping puzzle you will need to scale

The JP is on your left hand side of the room

 

After you make your way to the top of the JP you will see the Amber Runestone - you will need to pick this up prior to continuing on

 
 

Click (F) on the teleport pad to go to the next room

 
 

Poison Room

The second room is filled with poison traps in a similar layout to the first fire ones, the main goal in this room is to get to the end of the room and kill the Veteran Runestone Keymaster and get the Jade Runestone.

After you have both of the Runestones you can go through the teleporter and into the final chest room

Chest Room

The last room has 2 pedestals and a chest, to open the chest simply put the Jade and Amber Runestones you have picked up and then you can loot the chest

 
 

Valdhertz Crypts

This mini dungeon is located in The Echovald Wilds and you can find the entrance in Quarry Forelands north of Mori Village Waypoint — [&BMcMAAA=]

 
 

To enter the dungeon you will need to have completed the hidden achievement Cryptseeker - once that is completed you just need to approach the gate and click on the Ancient Lantern. Inside you will need to complete a few challenges to secure the treasure!

First Room / Entrance Hall

The first room you enter is a hallway with a few barricades with some enemies, spike traps and arrow carts at the end. Once you clear all the enemies out you will be able to follow a blue light to the next room

 
 

Second Room / Makeshift Armory

The next room you enter is the Armory, here you will fight several ghosts and Spectral Weapons.

Third Room / Hall of Tribute

The next room is a puzzle room, you will see a large grouping of 4 squares with Stone Scribbles in front of it as well as four different levers to interact with:
Flaming Lever - Earthy Lever - Aqueous Lever - Mistral Lever
Each lever adds a numerical value to the middle grouping of squares where the main group is to get them all to Blue (+2)

No Light = 0
Red Light = 1
Blue Light = 2

Once all four are blue the next room will open

Fourth Room / Living Quarters

The next room is just a few waves of enemies, one you kill them all the next door will open

Fifth Room / Magic Laboratory

The fifth room contains one Necromancer - Uwe Gorhopf - who will summon multiple enemies, even if you kill him fast there will still be enemies that spawn for a few seconds after including a wave of Oozes

Sixth Room / Heads of Houses

Next you will have to complete a matching game puzzle - you will have to match up five statues with their weapons

 
 

Crane Statue - Dagger

White Tiger Statue - Sword

Wallow Statue - Shield

Kirin Statue - Bow

Phoenix Statue - Staff

If you match up the wrong weapon with the wrong statue you will summon a enemy spirit of whichever one you you failed - once all five are matched up the door to the next room will open

Seventh Room / Forest Ruler's Sepulcher

This is the final room, there will be two enemies to fight, once you defeat them you have to kill the Heart of Grenth - after this you will open up the chest room on the side of the room

 
 

There will be up to eight chests in the final room - depending on how many of the prior rooms you completed - be careful to not click on the exit until you have looted all of your chests!

Trial of the Elders

This Mini Dungeon is located in Dragons End you will need to find a “Grate” in Sanctuary of Ione — [&BEgNAAA=]. Once you get inside you will need to run through the tunnel and find the Ancient Telport - the Jade Bot mastery Energy Efficiency is needed to use the Ancient Teleport to fully get inside this Mini Dungeon

 
 

After using the teleporter you will start off in the first of 8 rooms - each of which is connected via another teleporter

  1. Rose Room

  2. Phoenix Room

  3. Room of Reflection

  4. Room of Spirits

  5. Jasmine Room

  6. Room of the Peacock

  7. Room of the Koi

  8. Room of the Serpent

Each continuous room that you enter will give you a debuff called Elder's Plight

The Trial of the Elders' Void corruption reduces your damage by 5% for each stack of this effect.

By room 8 this leaves you with 40% reduced damage

Each room has the same event - Defeat the Void infecting the chamber - you will have to clear the wave of enemies to use the next teleporter, but the number of enemies in each room keeps increasing.

In the last chamber a random Elite Void enemy is will spawn - but this can scale up to a Champion if enough players are present

Once you defeat the last boss in the final chamber you will receive your reward and be able to use the last teleporter which will take you out to Archemorus's Solitude — [&BNoMAAA=]
