Getting Started
To get the springer, skimmer or jackal masteries you will have to purchase the Path of Fire expansion
As well as, have a level 80 character to do the Path of Fire story
As a note: purchasing the Path of Fire expansion will give you with a level 80 boost - but Raptor is now available at level 10 for new accounts with an expansion unlocked
Raptor
You will unlock this by simply hitting level 10 on an account that owns Path of Fire/Heart of Thorns
If you do not own the expansions you will receive a temporary Raptor mount every 10 levels
You will not unlock the Raptor masteries until you get to Path of Fire and complete the Aksim Heart - this can be done within the story chapter Sparking the Flame
Raptor Masteries
Ravenous Strike
Understand the true ravenous nature of the raptor, greatly increasing the damage of Tail Spin
Round Up
Learn to round up foes when using Tail Spin, pulling them in to your location.
Canyon Jumping
Learn to leap much farther with the raptor's movement ability, allowing you to traverse even more rough terrain
Ravenous Discipline
Master the raptor mount and learn to share the bonus from Ravenous Strike to all mount engage skills.
Springer
Springer can jump high into the air, decrease fall damage you take, and knock enemies down
Path of Fire
To unlock it springer in Path of Fire you just need to complete Stablemaster Unja’s Heart in the Desert Highlands area southeast of the Highjump Ranch Waypoint — [&BJ0KAAA=]
You will need the mastery Canyon Jumping from the Raptor to unlock Springer
Once you have upgraded your Raptor, leap over the canyon, keep going down the road and you should end up at Highjump Gap — [&BLUKAAA=]
Talk with Stablemaster Unja after completing the heart to purchase the Springer for 1 gold and 50 trade contracts
End of Dragons
To unlock the Springer in End of Dragons you will need to complete the Lieutenant Zhao Heart in New Kaineng City
This will not unlock the mastery track for Springer, you will need to do the Path of Fire method for that
Janthir Wilds
You will just need to start the first Janthir Wilds story step - Prologue: The Tyrian Alliance
This will not unlock the mastery track for Springer, you will need to do the Path of Fire method for that
Visions of Eternity
You will just need to start the first Visions of Eternity story step - Prologue: On the Sly
This will not unlock the mastery track for Springer, you will need to do the Path of Fire method for that
Springer Masteries
Fortified Descent
Learn to fortify your landing when falling from great heights, greatly increasing your tolerance for taking fall damage on the springer
Forceful Impact
Learn to create a more forceful impact when using Cannonball, knocking down foes
High Vault
Learn to jump up much higher with the springer's movement ability, allowing you to reach new and previously unexplorable areas
Masterful Descent
Master the springer mount and learn to share the bonus from Fortified Descent to all other mounts
Skimmer
Skimmer is your swimming mount, as well as a very efficient hover mount - and with the addition of Visions of Eternity also a fun way to hunt for treasure
It hovers over the ground, allowing you to glide on water which much faster than swimming. You can also avoid things like quicksand as well as sulfur pits by just hovering over them. This mount is also immune to fall damage, which works great for gliding
Path of Fire
To unlock it skimmer in Path of Fire you just need to complete Skimmer Trainer Ardra Heart in the Skimmer Ranch area near the Skimmer Ranch Waypoint — [&BGcKAAA=]
You will need the mastery Canyon Jumping from the Raptor to unlock Skimmer
Talk to her after completing the heart and you'll have the option to buy the Skimmer for 4 gold and 50 trade contracts
Visions of Eternity
Complete the second chapter of Visions of Eternity - Solid Ground to unlock Skimmer
This will not unlock the Path of Fire mastery track for Skimmer, you will need to do the Path of Fire method for that - but you will gain access to the Visions of Eternity mastery track

Path of Fire Mastery Track
Nimble Recovery
Learn to nimbly recover after being knocked off the skimmer and after engaging foes by using Barrel Roll. The skimmer will now grant you protection and swiftness when you're recovering
Rejuvenating Revival
Learn to enhance the rejuvenating properties of Barrel Roll to also heal downed allies
Ride the Wind
Learn to ride the wind and increase the height of the hover movement ability to conquer new challenges
Nimble Benevolence
Master the skimmer and learn to share the bonus from Nimble Recovery with all mounts
Skimming the Depths
Use all you've learned to teach your skimmer to dive underwater
Visions of Eternity Mastery Track
Advanced Hydrodynamics
Learn to dive underwater with the Skimmer
If you also have the Skimming the Depths Skimmer Path of Fire Mastery trained, this also increases the base ground speed of the skimmer and grants 3 seconds of stealth when entering or exiting water
Castoran Intuition
Change the Barrel Roll skill to now allow for continued Dashing while stamina exists
Also unlock the ability for your skimmer to detect threats and underwater treasure with Aetherlocation
Convergent Evolution
Gain access to Slipstream Boost and Water Jets. The Slipstream allows a speed boost above and below water as well as an increase in hover power. Waters Jets gives the skimmer the power to shoot stored magic projectiles at nearby allies and enemies, healing allies and damaging enemies
Riptide Rider
Gain the ability to ride ley lines both above and below water as well as updrafts with the skimmer - when in an updraft or a ley line, you can break out of it by using the skimmer's Barrel Roll engage skill
Jackal
Jackals give you access to a new form of movement in their dash, as well as a new way to explore with the Sand Jackal Portals
Path of Fire
To unlock it Jackal in Path of Fire you just need to complete Drojkor, Spirit Squall Heart in the Sand Jackal Run area east from the Sand Jackal Run Waypoint — [&BHcKAAA=]
You will need to have unlocked the Springer's High Vault or Skimmer's Ride the Wind mastery in order to unlock Jackal
Talk with Drojkor, Spirit Squall after completing the heart to purchase the Jackal for 20 gold and 200 trade contracts
Jackal Masteries
Enhanced Evasion
Learn to evade attacks while using the jackal's movement ability, and use it at opportune times to avoid large attacks
Bolster Allies
Learn to use the jackal's sand to bolster allies when using Pounce, granting nearby allies a strong barrier
Shifting Sands
Learn to shift through the sand portals found throughout the desert to reach new and hidden locations
Adroit Evasion
Master the jackal and learn to share the bonus from Enhanced Evasion with all the mounts through their movement abilities
